Why can't I go back and love him?

I'm just tired of all the fighting and hatred, ever since he released me from his dungeon. Before, it was great, I was his slave and obedient servant; but now he's trying to get me to have a mind of my own, and do things for myself. I detest his attitude. What can I do?
