Does my mom have cancer?

stupid question but to anyone out there that has experienced any of these symptoms an honest answer would really help ease my nerves .My mom has been having horrible pains down there in the front and back and in her bones .Mostly lower body pains .She has had a pelvic cat scan and abdomen cat scan (where waiting on the results ) .She went to the geno last friday and he performed some test for cancer by sticking something inside and taking tissue out i believe to test it for cancer.I dont know the name of the procedure she had done .She told me that he then stuck his hand inside and she felt like he squeeze something inside her and shes been having more horrible pains .He said his concern and wants to see the results of her test .Shes also going for a colonoscopy next week.What has me most worried is that on her ocks in between her cheeks there is what feels like a small round ball underneath the skin. geno said that was nothing .any advice would help.Shes 50 years old .
