Injured bird, any advice?

Don't be guilty. Just put him in a shoe box or whatever with a towel and some water. Keep him warm and quiet and if his wings are OK, maybe tomorrow he will be fine. Sometimes after they come out of the shock of being attacked, they just fly away.
