When comparing Lebron to Kobe is using the rings argument senseless?

the rings argument is senseless because kobe won 3 of his rings with shaq. without shaq kobe would've been nothing. without shaq, kobe would suck and he'd probably not be with the lakers right now. so the rings is senseless.
